Michigan provides many great areas to catch fish. With access to four of the Great Lakes, those alone offer unique fishing experienes. Lake Erie, sometimes called the "Walleye Capitol of the World", is a place to catch some of the biggest Walleye in the state. Also home to species like bass, trout and salmon, there is no shortage of variety in Lake Erie. Lake Michigan is another great spot to catch some fish. From shore or boat fish like yellow perch, trout, bass and carp can be found. With charters available year-round, Lake Michigan can provide an amazing fishing experience during all four seasons.
